GHR has been involved in many multi-million-dollar new building and addition projects over the years, but we also spend time working with district maintenance staff. Throughout the history of our firm, GHR has provided engineering services for many of the major state universities and colleges in Illinois. We have engineering design experience with practically every type of campus building: unions, student housing, classroom spaces, laboratories, and sports & recreation. In addition, GHR has provided a great deal of “behind the scenes” work at the higher education level: boiler and chiller replacements, lighting retrofits, feasibility studies, small room remodels, electrical gear upgrades, etc.

Healthcare design has been one of GHR’s primary market sectors for over 50 years. GHR has experience providing MEP design services for many multi-family housing projects: from urban high-rise and mixed-use facilities to multi-family communities.
